1) At my first consultation for revision rhinoplasty, the director and consultation manager were very kind and attentive, and they confidently said they could raise my nose a lot, so I decided to have revision surgery. 2) I could see their attitude change from the day of surgery. (They said they would do something as a service and take care of me, but there was no further mention after that.) 3) After the surgery ended, they told me to go home without giving me any instructions. 4) When removing the splint on day 7, they said the director was on vacation and told me to see him at the 3-month follow-up check. 5) From the day the splint was removed after my revision rhinoplasty, I did not like my nose. (I had surgery to raise my low nose, but even though there was swelling, my nose did not look higher.) 6) I made an appointment for 2 weeks after surgery and visited, but waited 2 hours. (Reason: They said a client whose appointment time was later than mine came early and went into surgery first.) 7) I complained that my nose was not raised in a way I liked, but they said it was because everything was swollen and told me to wait. I ended up not liking not only the height but also the shape of my nose. 9) I kept contacting the consultation manager, but they said they were sorry they could not take care of me because they were too busy, and said they would take good care of me during revision surgery. 10) The nasal asymmetry, lengthening of the columella, and other issues kept looking worse, so I kept contacting them, and they said the manager in charge had left the clinic. 11) At 2 months, I visited the clinic again and met the director. The director said he would do revision surgery. (He said if I gave him just one more chance, he would do the surgery well, apologized for making me keep coming back, and we decided to do surgery 5-6 months later.) 12) My right ear, where cartilage was removed during surgery, hurt so much that I contacted the new consultation manager, but I could not reach them > they said they were too busy with consultations, so I should make an appointment through the clinic > we argued and I called the clinic. 13) When I called the clinic to make an appointment, they said the director in charge had left the clinic. (They had not informed me beforehand; I was notified when I called to make an appointment.) 14) I was connected to the legal team and requested a full refund. (The legal team told me to have surgery with another director, that a full refund was absolutely impossible, and that at 6 months after surgery I should visit a university hospital and get a medical opinion letter.) 15) I said there was almost no difference before and after my nose surgery, my nose shape had become a shape I did not want, and the reasons were appearance-related issues such as asymmetry, uneven nostrils, and bumpiness, so why should I go to a university hospital? They said there was nothing they could do about that part either. (I said, if someone had double eyelid surgery but no double eyelid formed, wouldn't that be fraud? That is exactly my situation now. I said instead, my nose shape became strange, with a longer columella and asymmetry, but they said there was no way they could help.) 16) When nearly 6 months had passed, I visited the clinic. As expected, yet another follow-up manager came in, and I had a consultation with another director. (It felt very careless.) 17) When I asked for materials such as before-and-after surgery photos, they demanded 40,000 won. 18) I wrote a 6-month review. (Exactly as the facts were.) 19) The clinic called and told me to take down the post. They recommended surgery with another director and spoke as if the director who operated on me had no skill. I said I had no intention of receiving surgery from another director. 20) They said they would compensate me. They said the review process would take about 1-2 weeks, so I should take down the post during the negotiation period. 21) Since revision rhinoplasty would cost even more money anyway, I took down the post thinking I should at least get a refund, but I could not trust a clinic that had already disappointed me several times, so I uploaded the post again right away. 22) As soon as I uploaded the post, the clinic called again. They spoke as if they were angry and threatened me. 23) They drove me into a corner as if I had done something terribly wrong, asking whether there had been a medical accident > they threatened to sue me and said they would see me at the police station > I told them to sue me and ended the call.
Numbers 1 through 23 are what happened over about 6 months. I trusted and chose them because they were said to be the most famous large clinic in our country. Before surgery, they said they would do this and that as a service and made it sound like they would take good care of me. I trusted their kind attitude and confident consultation and decided to go ahead, but now my nose is worse than before. Everyone agrees there seems to be almost no difference in height, and only the columella became longer, nostril asymmetry developed, and the nasal bridge became bumpy.
Whenever I think about my nose, my heart aches. I had seen many plastic surgery reviews like this before, but I always thought it was someone else's problem. Everyone, when looking into plastic surgery clinics, please examine everything carefully and choose cautiously. One botched plastic surgery can ruin your life in an instant.
