Before<before surgery...>after<the day after surgery>before<today (day 4)>The hospital was recommended by a relative, and I ended up getting my first surgery as an incision + eye correction. Everyone here kept saying I should really visit more places first, but some unknown... intuition... just whispered that I should get surgery here. Other people should really do their homework well... don’t be like me.
On the day of surgery, when we were deciding the design in the director’s office, he just drew it on my eye quickly, so I asked, “Um... what will the line be like? There are things like in-out or semi-out...,” and he replied, “I don’t know. We just do it by feel...” I only wanted it to look natural and improve the eyelid fold, nothing more. The doctor also seemed to prefer a natural look, so our needs matched, but if they hadn’t matched... I wouldn’t have been able to have surgery at this hospital. It seems they push for whatever looks harmonious “in the doctor’s own eyes.” If that doesn’t suit you, I wouldn’t recommend it.
The surgery was sedation plus local anesthesia, so I was conscious, but not very clear-headed. It was only enough to follow directions like “Please open your eyes” and “Please look here.”
Right now, maybe because of the swelling, it looks completely like sausage, but I hope the line settles nicely...
