The person who first introduced SMILE LASIK was there, and after the examination, I had SMILE LASIK done on the earliest available date. Honestly, I was really scared, but I was also excited. The surgery itself doesn’t take long, but the preparation takes some time. I think the surgery was over in about 10-15 minutes, but for me, when they put eye drops in my eyes for anesthesia, maybe because the anesthesia took effect later than I expected, the eye they did first was really painful and uncomfortable. Please tell the doctors to proceed only after the anesthesia has fully taken effect... *sob* After the surgery, on the subway home for an hour, I seriously couldn’t open my eyes or close them, and they stung like crazy and everything was blurry. Wow, it was seriously insane. But around the time I was in pain wondering what I should do, this way? that way? about an hour had passed and I had almost arrived, and from then on I could see well and my eyes stopped stinging. It was truly so amazing. Recovery was fast too, and when I had my vision test the very next day, I was able to see all the way down to the very bottom line. It’s seriously so amazing. I really think SMILE LASIK is the best option if you’re eligible. I don’t have dry eyes either, and I’m just so happy, like I gained a new pair of eyes.
