I had surgery 7 years ago, and since I was a minor, my mom chose it. She said she chose that place because the price was reasonable and there were several hospital directors, so it seemed good. It was done under very minimal sleep anesthesia, and thankfully the doctor was my assigned doctor Since it was a large hospital, I thought there might be a shadow doctor, so in my very young mind I was really scared. Anyway, eye surgery has a big effect on your impression, so I think it’s good to say “please make it pretty like this,” but there also needs to be “please absolutely don’t do it like this.” My space between the eyes was already narrow, but they did an epicanthoplasty on me... It honestly felt like my life was ruined. My nasal bridge is also thin, so my face really looked funny. Even now, when I take photos, I don’t smile because my eyes look unified in one straight line...! Still, if you look only at the eyes, they’re pretty. I tried to get restoration but just gave up. Because, like I said earlier, it has such a huge effect on the overall impression. Honestly, I’m worried that if I do it, my impression might change too much, and I think my current eyes are somewhat harmonious.
