Review after lower eye fat repositioning for under-eye puffiness

The bulging under-eyes were getting more and more noticeable, so I had a consultation for lower eye fat repositioning and went ahead with surgery My under-eyes were bulging, and the area just below them also looked slightly hollow, so my face looked more tired than I expected. I thought just removing the under-eye fat would be enough, but after consulting with Director Hwang Inseok at OOD, I was told that it’s important to look at the tear trough area as well, rather than simply removing fat. He explained that the fuller areas of the under-eyes are smoothed out, and the lacking areas are filled by repositioning the fat, creating a more even under-eye area overall. That seemed to match exactly the concerns I had I had sometimes seen reviews saying that the aegyo-sal disappeared after surgery, but the director explained that he would preserve the aegyo-sal and aegyo line as much as possible, which I also liked! The surgery was done through the conjunctival side, so there was no visible external scar, and because it was closed with dissolvable stitches, I almost didn’t feel any foreign-body sensation at all! Once it was done, my under-eyes looked so much cleaner than before, and they no longer bulged out like they used to, so I’m satisfied It doesn’t feel like they just took fat out; the hollow-looking areas were corrected too, so the under-eye area overall feels flatter and more natural. For anyone worried that under-eye fat is making you look tired, rather than thinking only about simple removal, I think it would be good to ask whether they also evaluate the tear trough and the overall under-eye line!
