I got my nose surgery!! I'll also tell you about waking up in the middle

Everyone, long time no see!! I had contouring done in winter, and today I had my nose done!! If this ends up being botched, I'll rip out the donated rib cartilage put into my nose myself!! Anyway, I had the surgery at a hospital with very few reviews on places like this community, another community, and a bulletin board, so I was worried about that until the very end It was a one-doctor clinic that had only opened at the end of last year after the doctor had been at a big hospital for a long time, so there wasn't that much data And they were pushing this place as a specialist in men's eyes and noses, so I was skeptical until the end, but the director's aesthetic sense matched mine so well that I made up my mind and went there!! I'll leave a review of the hospital after I see the results! If there's no review after 6 months, assume it was a failure...-First, I have a really severe deviated septum, so it was somewhat difficult to breathe through one nostril. It looked a little crooked from the outside, but inside it was really badly deviated. I visited about 10 clinics for consultations, and they all said this couldn't be perfectly straightened, so I decided I'd be okay even if it was only partially corrected. My lower face is asymmetrical to begin with, so if the nose were corrected perfectly, I thought it might look even more awkward. And I had a dorsal hump, so I wanted it shaved down while leaving a little, and only the tip lifted. From my perspective it wasn't a big lift, but the clinic said that this would still be raising it by 5 to 6 mm, so the movement amount was fairly large. Still, because of the hump, my bridge was on the high side, so they raised it with donated rib cartilage..! My ears are the one part of my face I'm 100% satisfied with, so I said very firmly that I absolutely didn't want them touched. I couldn't do autologous rib cartilage in this weather + I was already somewhat thinking about revision surgery, so I decided on donated rib cartilage. A surgery done while already deciding on revision surgery I really think you shouldn't get nose surgery unless you truly need it- Today was a morning surgery, so I went to the hospital by 10 o'clock, and in the recovery room I changed clothes, washed my face, and had a design consultation with the director. A consultation tip, if it's even a tip, is this: on the Snow app, edit your face into the shape you want and there is that before-and-after comparison button, right? Screen-record that!! I brought that today and the director looked through it carefully one by one!! I debated forehead filler and got 4cc of Juvederm! I have a wedding in about half a year anyway, so I was planning to do it eventually, and since I was already getting sedation I decided to just do it then:) When I went into the operating room, they put in the IV line and secured my arms and legs. I really hate being hooked up to an IV the most in the world I've had contouring, eyes, and nose done, but I think I'm the type who finds the feeling of the IV needle going in hardest to bear Anyway, after all that, they removed the nose hairs, disinfected inside the nose, and sprayed disinfectant all around the edges of my face, and the smell was disgusting, bleh. That briefly made me forget the discomfort of the IV. Anyway, they said they were going to give me medicine after the director came in, but before I knew it I had fallen asleep. ❗️And then the shock!! I woke up during surgery ❗️ I knew this sometimes happens with eyes and nose surgeries, so I wasn't startled, and because it was local anesthesia, I could just feel that something was being done. I said with my own mouth, 'Doctor... the anesthesia wore off...' and they put me back to sleep I've had sedation several times, but this was the first time this happened. Thankfully there were no problems. And after the surgery ended, while I was lying on the operating table, I remember the sound of taking nose photos and a little bit of how I got to the recovery room. Before that, I had only remembered from the moment I woke up in the recovery room. It was strange. When I opened my eyes in the recovery room, the IV was uncomfortable, my nose stung a little, and I wanted to sleep, so I pressed the bell. This was around 3 o'clock. They originally said I could drink water after 30 minutes, but apparently I was already awake 20 minutes earlier My throat felt like it was tearing, so I drank it down. So it seems like it was 11 o'clock surgery / 2.5-hour surgery / mentally awake after 30 minutes. And my mom kept asking when I was coming home-!!! Mom, I just had surgery!! Wait, mother!! Please!! ⭐️ Before surgery, I had asked them to show me the photos right after the surgery was finished, so I checked them. For now, I love it so much!! They say if you like the nose right after surgery or when there's a splint, it means it was botched, but because my nose looked a bit lifted compared to the shape I like, I actually felt relieved. I'm not sure if I know this correctly, but isn't it true that they intentionally leave it a bit lifted during surgery, considering that it will drop later..? Anyway, taking that into account, I liked it!! If it stays like this when it's fully done, I'll go crazy... Anyway, I came home after surgery and it's not as painful as I expected. It's more like an unpleasant pain? It's tolerable, like dropping your phone on your face at a slight angle. Breathing through my mouth isn't that uncomfortable because I've lived like this my whole life due to my underbite. It's dry, so I've been drinking water constantly! Now I understand why people say to buy a mini humidifier. I didn't buy one, but if I could go back to yesterday, I would. There's a little bit of bleeding, but it's not as horrible as I thought it would be. I don't feel like eating, as always after surgery, so I've been drinking New Care. The black sesame flavor of New Care is the best. Anyone who's had contouring knows Anyway, now I'm home, I'm working, and I had planned to do room cleaning after the surgery because I kept putting it off, but cleaning the room is too much. It's definitely not because I'm lazy..! I'll bring a follow-up review tomorrow too
