This is a review of male rhinoplasty revision by Director Jeong Jin-uk at DL Plastic Surgery. After the first surgery, as time passed, the bridge of my nose kept looking crooked and the tip kept drooping, so I went around for revision consultations. At other hospitals they said I absolutely had to use costal cartilage, but the cost was burdensome and the surgery itself was scary. But Director Jeong Jin-uk said that if costal cartilage felt too burdensome, he could use a custom implant without costal cartilage and trim the cartilage and fascia so it would be held up without sagging. And really, even now about 5 months later, my nasal tip has not dropped at all. At the consultation, besides the crooked bridge and nasal tip, he also caught the slightly uneven nostrils, alar rims, and even the line along the base of the nose that had subtly bothered me, and carefully matched the symmetry on his own. Because he took care of details like that, it feels like I got exactly the clean nose I wanted, so I’m satisfied every time I look at it. Meeting Director Jeong Jin-uk, I feel like only the necessary parts were improved perfectly, without any unnecessary treatment.
