I had been living with monolids for a really long time, and putting on eyelid tape and doing my makeup was almost a habit. At first I just did it naturally, but little by little it got annoying, and it took way too long every morning. I also have some epicanthal folds, so my eyes always looked cramped and that kept bothering me, which is why I finally decided to have the surgery. After the surgery, I had a throbbing feeling for about 2-3 days, so it was a little uncomfortable, but still bearable, and after about a week that feeling was almost gone. I didn't really do anything special for care, just followed everything the hospital told me! For about the first month there was still swelling, so people said it still looked like I had had surgery, but around 3 months later the swelling was definitely gone. After that, people said my eyes just looked bigger rather than asking if I had surgeryNow it's really much easier to do my makeup, and the best part is not having to put on eyelid tape anymore.It's definitely easier to do makeup and my eyes are bigger than before, so I'm so happy Now they really look like my own eyes, and there are even people around me who don't know I had surgery, which I think is the best thing!!
