Eye Surgery Reviews

I’m glad my eyes seem more lovely after the revision...

I had double-eyelid surgery with the buried-suture method 10 years ago, but honestly, the surgery wasn’t done well. From the start, there was asymmetry on both sides.. So back then I also asked the previous clinic about after-service, but they only kept saying things like my facial structure was originally like that, or that people are naturally asymmetric.. Since I felt like I’d just be more exhausted if I kept talking, I gave up and lived with it.. I was so angry I figured that if it was buried-suture, it would loosen someday anyway, but apparently the fixation was really strong, because even after 10 years it still didn’t loosen Instead, an extra fold formed too, which made me pay even more attention to it, so I eventually started looking into revision surgery. I was so annoyed^^ This time, the surgery method didn’t matter much, and I just wanted to naturally lower the line because it was too high and heavy-looking, and I wanted it to feel easier when opening my eyes. I ended up getting revision double-eyelid surgery at Olo, which is well known for eye surgery. After looking at reviews, I saw they do a lot of even extreme eye cases, and my eyes weren’t quite that severe, but I still felt like they’re good at naturally improving difficult eyes, so I trusted them and went ahead. The surgery was incisional on both sides, and during consultation I said I wanted to keep the left line at its current height because I liked it, so they left the left side as it was and lowered only the right line. That was exactly what I wanted, and the result was satisfying, so I was really glad. I mentioned that my eyes often felt easily tired and heavy, and they carefully checked for ptosis and recommended ptosis correction together. The examination process was systematic, and the director explained things in detail, so I hardly felt anxious before surgery. The manager was also very comfortable to talk to, and even after the consultation I asked various questions separately over chat, and the replies were really fast. I’m the kind of person who gets discouraged if things are slow and annoying so I guess I didn’t feel that at all Also, in the beginning after surgery there was a little bruising along the line, but the swelling was not as bad as I expected. I didn’t use any bruise cream or anything separately, just got swelling care at the hospital, and after about two weeks the bruising mostly went away naturally, and recovery was faster than I expected, so I was relieved.. I recovered well. One thing I considered in the middle was that during consultation they also explained orbital fat repositioning because my eyelids looked a little sunken, but I thought eyes with a bit of an eye hollow are more natural and more my taste, so I decided not to do that.. I thought I’d want to do that later?? Anyway For 10 years I was stressed every time I looked in the mirror because of the high, heavy-looking line, but now the line is much more natural and opening my eyes is easier, so I wish I had done the revision sooner.. I was worried because it was a revision surgery, but I’m satisfied because I like the result. If there’s anyone like me who’s considering revision double-eyelid surgery, I recommend getting a consultation once
