Since there were no surface signs of inflammation or contracture, they told me not to remove it right away and to keep observing the course. If there was concern about losing the bridge of the nose after removing the silicone, they recommended Megaderm. The silicone foreign-body sensation kept bothering me, so I had the silicone removed and had a revision with Megaderm. The foreign-body sensation and pain improved a lot, but as the Megaderm is absorbed, the shape is a bit disappointing.
