Eye Surgery Reviews

VN community review

I'm writing a review of my eye surgery with Director Kim Tae-hoon, whom I paid for myself. I had the surgery in January, and it's been about 2 months now. I had natural adhesion double eyelid surgery, non-incisional eye correction, and inner canthoplasty together. The hospital was one I personally chose after visiting many clinics and doing a lot of legwork. The director was extremely meticulous with the design. (It was the first place I had ever seen that set the double eyelid line down to the millimeter.) The explanation was so thorough that it really stuck with me. One thing I hesitated about was that I had never even considered eye correction in the first place. But the director explained in detail why eye correction was necessary for my eyes, and because it was the non-incisional type, the overcorrection I had been worried about seemed like it would be okay too, so I went ahead with the surgery. At the one-month follow-up, I went to see the director's progress check, and they told me I had managed swelling really well and that it was settling in nicely, so I was glad. Honestly, all I really did was go for walks when I had time and do warm compresses. The hospital said they would do swelling laser treatment until the one-month mark, but because I live far away, I only got it once and missed the other times. I think the surgery went well from the start, so recovery was probably fast haha Still, they say cosmetic surgery needs to be watched for at least six months, so I'm taking monthly photos of my eyes and comparing them with the pre-op photos. I'm even happier that the double eyelid surgery succeeded at a place I personally chose after all that legwork haha If you want natural-looking double eyelids, definitely get a consultation.
