It has been 3 years since I had SMILE LASIK and got my life back!! When I first had LASIK, I worried a lot about glare and future vision decline, but luckily I still have 1.5 in one eye and 1.2 in the other!! It does vary a little depending on how I am feeling..!! Now that it has been 3 years, I can even wear colored contacts! My friends all did it after me, and most of them had good results, but one friend with severe astigmatism said it became a bit uncomfortable and their vision got worse LASIK seems pretty similar overall, but it probably depends on each person's eye condition!! Get checked carefully before doing it! Oh, and I had the exam and surgery on the same day.
