I wanted LASIK, so I spent a lot of time researching hospitals online and in person and went for eye exams.. I think I visited about 8 places over several weeks. In 2023, I had written 8 review posts on my blog. Most hospitals said my eyes were suitable for SMILE LASIK, LASEK, and LASIK, so I went ahead with SMILE LASIK. They said SMILE LASIK would not hurt, but I did feel some pain; I started hurting on the way home after surgery.. I was in some pain on the day of surgery. It was not a lot, just enough to tolerate T_T Since it was my eyes, maybe I was even more scared. After visiting many hospitals, the feeling was similar but slightly different each time T_T I really, really thought about it a lot before deciding on one place and getting the surgery. It has been a little over 2 years now, and I am satisfied!
