I went to the hospital because I wanted SMILE LASIK, but they said my eyes were -8.5 and -8.25, so lens implantation was the only option! I wondered if I really had to spend this much money on vision correction, but.. there is nothing like it. I can see the clock as soon as I wake up. They said there could be dry-eye side effects, but as someone who wore contact lenses my whole life, I was basically numb to that. I was worried when they said lens implantation increases the chance of cataracts, but high myopia already has a higher chance anyway, even without surgery, so they said to deal with it then ^^. I went to a hospital because it was famous, but it was not actually a hospital specializing in lens implantation Since my original goal was SMILE LASIK... Later, the nurse? consultation? people would not even accept a follow-up appointment to check progress lol I guess follow-ups do not make money. They scheduled the surgery quickly, but for the exam they told me to come back in 3 months lol It was originally supposed to be after 1 month Later I told the doctor, and he said I should have come then, and that it was good I had not missed it lol They said they would educate them, but honestly I was just pissed off What if it had actually gone wrong
