What I Felt After Using Barun Young Dental Veneers for 9 Months

Everyone, I'll go casually because this community doesn't use honorifics 🤭 A careful, self-paid review of no-prep veneers! It's already been over 9 months, almost 10 haha It really feels like we're in an era where veneers are everywhere these days, on TV, around us, and among influencers! I searched a lot, even for places like Yeou O, Gangnam O, and Bobby O in this community, and read tons of reviews. Since it's a procedure you have to maintain regularly once you do it, I thought a lot about whether I really needed it in the first place, looking ahead to the future. I also looked into a lot of things by clinic: shape, design, whether they remove tooth structure, cost, really a lot. I had worked at a clinic before, so I knew some things pretty well. I had orthodontic treatment, and even though I invested money and time into it, when it ended I realized, ah, this wasn't the tooth shape I wanted, and this wasn't the brightness I wanted either. My bite improved, but my front teeth chipped at the tips and my yellow teeth stressed me out so much. I wore braces for so long that I got blotchy teeth too, and smiling was stressful. I thought that after orthodontics I'd get celebrity teeth, but that was just my own huge misunderstanding and delusion So I reached the point of thinking, no, this definitely needs veneers, and I honestly studied and researched this much. I think I would have gotten into a Seoul university with that effort lol And seriously, the whole no-prep, no-prep, no-prep obsession is such a stupid thing to do. Just imagine whether that would actually be possible on my teeth. If, in fact, I could make my teeth and face look exactly how I want, I'd probably live as Shin Min-a or Jang Wonyoung, right? Then all Koreans would be insanely beautiful, right? You have to let go of those huge, unrealistic wishes. Also, as a consumer, there is a lot to consider! Even when buying food or goods, and even luxury bags selling for 10 million won while the actual manufacturing cost is under 1 million, everyone knows there are extra costs like advertising, department store commissions, interior design costs, and so on. We end up paying for all of that too. Veneers are the same. Prices vary widely, but the actual cost of making one veneer is not different by dozens of times!! A lot of the price is just brand value added on top!! If I were really rich, living abroad, with no time, and wanted the absolute most expensive option, then sure, I could just go to a place with a 20 million won estimate, not compare, not do any legwork, and pick wherever I was drawn to. But most people aren't like that, are they? We want a place that is not too busy like an assembly-line clinic, that will pay a little special attention to me when doing veneers, that will give me a good design, and that is reasonably priced too, right? I know that's asking a lot, but if you look carefully, there really are dental clinics that come close to a six-point-perfect setup. After months of thinking, I got veneers and I'm honestly living well. Everyone says they wish they had done it earlier. My friends and older sisters all say that too. There is one older sister who says, because it has been long enough, she needs to do it again and that she shouldn't have done it in the first place, but I know what her old teeth looked like, and there's absolutely no going back. When I say that, she agrees, but she says it hurts that she suddenly has to spend money again. But skin, eye, nose, and breast surgeries are all the same in that they are not one-time costs, right? Even with Ulthera, you can spend 1.5 to 2 million won every year for decades. As a woman, I'm the type who thinks we should maintain ourselves to a reasonable extent, so I really like it. With veneers, even my skin looks brighter and better somehow. I feel like I might not need Ulthera as often anymore! The clinic I used, B*L Dental, feels like it's going to get more expensive if a little more time passes; I felt that a lot while getting the procedure. These days they only do veneers for one person a day, and because there are no internal comparisons it feels like being treated well, but honestly then it should be more expensive. Still, that's not how it is now. If you have cavities or your mom needs implants, go to this dental clinic too. Friends thinking about veneers should get consultations from two or three places, and if one place feels right, I recommend going with it!
