Underbite that braces could not fix, jaw surgery, and now people even say I look younger haha

I’m a patient who had double jaw surgery with Director Shin Hee-jin at Liyu Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery! Since I was young, my underbite was a complex of mine, and even though my front view was fine, the moment my side profile showed, I felt like people were only looking at my chin, so when I took photos I always covered my chin or turned my head T_T So I started orthodontic treatment, and at first it felt like my chin had moved in a little, which gave me confidence and made me think it had improved! But as time passed, it felt like my chin was growing again and the underbite started to stand out more and more, so I eventually decided to get double jaw surgery. And the before-and-after photos also felt natural, with the face shape being neatly refined rather than changing too drastically, which matched the style I wanted best, so after the consultation I decided to have surgery with Director Shin Hee-jin haha Now that it’s been 9 months, I’m living so naturally that I honestly forget I even had surgery! Orthodontic treatment is almost in its final stage too, so there’s 거의 no discomfort, and I can eat almost everything except a few things, so my quality of life has really gone up haha Before, I hated being photographed, especially because showing my side profile was stressful, but these days even if someone suddenly takes a picture, I don’t really mind! In fact, when I look at the photos, I can see that my face line has been refined, so my satisfaction feels even bigger haha And lately I keep hearing things like that I look pretty, my face got so much smaller, and I look like a student lol I used to often hear that I looked older than my age, so at first it was a little awkward, but every time I hear it I’m so happy..! My family even says it seems to have settled in so naturally that they sometimes forget I had double jaw surgery haha Before, I felt unnecessarily small because of my chin and got stressed every time I took photos, but now I really feel like changing just the face shape can change your confidence this much. As time passes, I can feel it becoming more and more natural, so I’m even more excited to see how it turns out once the orthodontic treatment is fully finished!!
