Review of chin surgery for a recessed chin at 9 months: it looks more natural as time goes by

It has now been 9 months since I had chin surgery after worrying for a long time about my recessed chin. In the beginning I was very worried because of the swelling and bruising, but as time passed it gradually settled into a more natural appearance, and now my satisfaction is very high compared with before surgery. At present there is almost no inconvenience in daily life. I can eat most foods comfortably, and there is no time when I have to worry about my chin while talking or going about my day. I can feel the change when I look in the mirror, but the difference before and after surgery seems even clearer in photos taken by other people. My side profile used to be my biggest concern, but now that the chin line has been neatly refined, the overall balance of my face feels much better. The reactions from people around me are more natural than I expected. People I meet often may not notice a big change, but when I compare old photos, I can clearly tell that it is different. Rather than looking overly changed, the fact that my impression improved naturally is actually more satisfying. Looking back now after 9 months, I feel that chin surgery is a procedure where you need to wait patiently rather than rush the results. As the swelling slowly went down, my face shape became more stable and natural, and at present I am living comfortably with no functional discomfort. For anyone worried about a recessed chin and wanting a natural change, I think this is a procedure worth considering.
