1) [Clinic A] It seems like there is one director. They use custom implants and pay attention to X-rays. They seem to examine things carefully to make sure the custom implant is made precisely!!
If I had said, I’m going to use silicone!, I think I would have had surgery at [Clinic A], but I personally have a strong aversion to silicone Even though I have a low bridge, I only wanted to raise the tip, and I didn’t want to worry about silicone-related side effects, so I became averse to silicone.
Even at the consultation, it was my first one and I didn’t really know much, so I went with the recommendation!!
I showed the manager a few nose photos of my ideal style, and she said they were all noses with different aesthetics, which surprised me,, For a first nose consultation, it might not be bad to go in and ask.
But I remember the consultation fee was 20,000 won? Personally, I don’t think the consultation was worth 20,000 won. Other clinics gave similar consultations too.
Still, if you’re interested in [Clinic A] Plastic Surgery and really like the before-and-after photos, I think it’s worth going for a consultation.
First of all, I was really impressed that they used hand sanitizer before touching my nose. They also examined my nose very carefully.
But personally, when I asked them to recommend a nose that would suit me, they hesitated a bit and instead asked me to tell them the direction I wanted. Usually they say something like, this kind of nose would suit you, but I don’t think I got a very clear answer.
There was no pressure from the manager to leave a reservation deposit, and they said the CCTV could also be viewed once at accelerated playback speed.
I think the aftercare was good too. There are a total of 4 visits, and for the first one, they said if I wanted to see the director, I could, and if not, I didn’t have to, so it was flexible. But for 3 of the visits, they said I had to come in for the director’s follow-up check.
2) [Clinic B] - I understand there is only one doctor who does [nose type]. I could feel that they were full of confidence in the doctor’s skill, and they explained how they perform the surgery.
They said my nose could be done without an open approach even though my nostrils are small, which was a bit surprising. But it did feel like they were very passionate about patients?
The manager was an extreme fan of the doctor. The presence was no joke, and she kept praising the doctor nonstop, saying things like our doctor is the best, there’s no need to say anything about skill, and so on.
And since my preferred aesthetic is natural, it seemed like a good match with their clinic, while they also honestly said that flashy styles are not our doctor’s style, which I liked.
The only thing that bothered me was that they give you photos after surgery that have been edited in Photoshop. That part was nice, but some of the review photos also looked Photoshopped, so that bothered me a little.
Other than that, it was the clinic I was most drawn to..
They didn’t really talk much about side effects? I asked because I was worried that if I got an implant, there might come a time when it needs to be removed, or whether it could be removed if inflammation occurred.
They said they hadn’t seen that among patients they operated on themselves, but patients who had surgery at other clinics often come to have removals.
The doctor was number one in confidence. They said CCTV cannot be viewed on demand, but it can be watched in real time.
They also said aftercare is unlimited, and I can come whenever I want.
They said they take good care of patients, and if I’m worried about even a small thing, I should come to the clinic.
And when I asked what kind of nose would suit me, they said only raising the tip might be enough, but if I wanted to be more ambitious about the bridge, they would recommend silicone.
Otherwise, cartilage particles might also be fine, they said.
No pressure from the manager to reserve.
3) [Clinic C] I got a consultation because they’re famous for noses by a single director.
He’s handsome lol
But all the noses there were flashy. Very much so
They showed me natural-style photos and more restrained styles too, but to my eyes they all still looked flashy. The bridges were all high
Even during the consultation, the silicone height they suggested was the highest.
It just seems like they like flashy noses.
So I don’t think it matches my preferred style very well.
The manager did pressure me to leave a deposit. And a little over 3 days after the consultation, they contacted me again on KakaoTalk.
They were kind and asked whether I had any more questions.
If a flashy nose is your preferred style, I’d recommend them. If my aesthetic were in that direction, I think I would have had surgery there too.
The price was the best here compared to the others.
Even with silicone and donor rib, the price was the lowest among the places I checked.
However, they said you can’t view the CCTV, not even in real time
The clinic has only one director, and they told me not to worry about CCTV because everything can be seen coming in and out in the waiting room.
Still, I found that part a bit disappointing.
