My nasal bridge was originally low, my nose was bulbous, and it also looked somewhat long, so I had surgery. I didn’t want a dramatic, Pinocchio-like high nose; I only wanted a clean, defined look that still felt masculine. I had surgery without implants using autologous costal cartilage. Along with correcting the bulbous nose and dorsal hump, they also corrected the long-looking nasal tip and the dragon-nose appearance. I was also concerned about the nasolabial angle, and they addressed that too. During the consultation, I explained in detail the kind of masculine nose I wanted, and they reflected it well, so I’m quite satisfied with the result. From the front, the bulbous appearance has decreased a lot, and from the side, the downward length is noticeably reduced. My biggest worry was that it would look obviously too high, but without that impression, it simply looks naturally more defined than my original nose, haha. For a man’s nose, I definitely think it’s better to operate in a way that suits your face rather than getting greedy and making it too high.
