It’s finally been a week since my buried-suture double-eyelid surgery and epicanthoplasty! All the doctors I consulted recommended something similar, so I chose [Doctor A]. Since a crease appeared on my previously monolid eyes, it still feels amazing every time I look at them, lol. On the first day, I was slightly worried because of the swelling and redness around the epicanthoplasty area, but after a week, most of the major swelling has gone down and the crease is gradually looking more natural. There is still some residual swelling, but I’m satisfied because my eyes seem to be settling into the natural, gentle look I wanted without feeling too strong or burdensome! I’m also glad the epicanthoplasty wasn’t excessive and only improved the stuffy-looking appearance. Recovery has been better than I expected, perhaps because it was a buried-suture procedure. I’m looking forward to seeing how they change as the swelling goes down more, haha. I think I successfully escaped my monolids!
