I had incisional eye correction and a second eye revision surgery. When the stitches came out, I ended up with double eyelids. It would not go away, so I had another revision two weeks later.. After that re-revision, I found that my eyes would not close well, and when I asked about it, they said it might be because of swelling. But now it has been a month and my eyes still do not close, I have scratches in my eyes, and my eyes are very sore, stinging, and uncomfortable.. They say I need to wait until my eyes can close, but how long do I have to wait..? My eyes do not close and it feels like needles are stabbing them, so I felt I could not leave it alone and went to an ophthalmology clinic to get protective contact lenses too. Since yesterday the swelling and redness have gotten much worse, and the stinging is severe. I really do not want to live. The hospital says it will get better and that it is getting better, but it has been over a month.. and it is still this uncomfortable.. I do not know when it will get better.. I am also worried about vision loss.. I never knew one eye surgery could make things this hard..
