I am a woman in my early 20s, and the only cosmetic surgery I have had, and the first one I ever had, was breast surgery lol. To be honest, I did not really have a strong desire for breast augmentation at first, but since I had been repeating dieting and binge eating since I was young, my weight changed a lot and I was really stressed because my breasts sagged so much. I did have some baseline tissue, but they were sagging, had no upper fullness, and I had a pigeon chest.
So I looked around to improve my sagging breasts, and while doing my research I started wanting implants as well since I was already going to have an incision, so I got them together. When choosing the clinic, augmentation was important, but for me lifting was more important, so I chose a clinic that does a lot of lifts. In the end I am satisfied, but even now, a year after surgery, the incision scar is still there, so that has become another source of stress for me T_T. Honestly, I also regret not looking into it a bit more.
Even though I asked before surgery to make the incision as small as possible, I am a little disappointed that they went ahead with a large inverted-T incision. But they said that if the incision had been smaller, the lifting effect would have been less and it could sag again later. Still, my breasts are much better than before surgery, so I am satisfied for now. The clinic also checked my progress carefully, and even the postoperative laser care was unlimited, so I am happy about that part!!
After surgery, I kept wondering when time would pass and when the scar would fade a little. Now a year has already gone by and I am even leaving a review, so it feels surreal. At the time, they recommended Motiva implants, but they felt too hard to the touch for me, so I chose the softer Smooth option and had 300 cc placed on both the left and right, and I am satisfied with the implant choice.
Now that a year has passed, they have softened a lot, so they feel almost like natural breasts! The texture is good, and maybe because my skin is very soft to begin with, I do not know, but even when I run they bounce a little. Before surgery I was a 70B, after surgery I wore an E-F bra, and now, a year later, a 70D cup seems to fit.
I do not think the swelling will go down any more! My impression is that unless your breasts are an enormous complex, you should really think carefully before having surgery. A lot of people say breast surgery does not hurt, and of course maybe that is true for some people, but for me it hurt like hell.. I had a hard time sleeping for almost a month. I do not hurt now, but I still get occasional sharp pains, and it still does not feel like my pre-surgery breasts, natural? It still feels like something is inside my body haha. I guess I will have to live with that forever...
I only had the surgery together with the lift because of the lift, so if I had not done the lift, I probably would not have gotten augmentation either. Anyway, I recommend thinking carefully about cosmetic surgery and only doing it when you truly feel you absolutely need it.
