It has already been 3 months since I had contouring surgery with two procedures (chin reduction + square jaw). For about two weeks right after surgery, swelling and pain were the hardest part, and my speech felt awkward, so daily life was not easy. I remember not being able to eat freely and having to be careful all the time. But as time passed, the swelling gradually went down and my condition recovered, and after about a month I could feel my facial line becoming noticeably more refined. Now that it is the 3-month mark, most of the major swelling is gone and only a little minor swelling remains.
Both the front view and side view have become much slimmer and more natural, and my originally long chin has been refined in a way that does not feel burdensome, which is what I am happiest about. My face looks smaller while still not feeling artificial, and it seems to suit my face well. People around me have also been saying more often that I look like I lost weight or that my face has become much more refined, rather than that I had surgery, so I am even more satisfied. I have gained more confidence when taking photos, and the stress about my side profile has decreased a lot.
It seems like there is still a very tiny bit of residual swelling, but it does not cause any inconvenience in daily life at all, and I am looking forward to it becoming even more natural with time. I think I got a satisfying result thanks to the director, who listened carefully to my concerns from the consultation stage and explained only what was necessary with precision. The hospital facilities and staff were all kind, so overall it was a highly satisfying experience from surgery to recovery.
