Eye Surgery Reviews

Writing about my secondary canthoplasty after a year

I had already undergone medial canthoplasty reversal at another well-known hospital, but as you can see in the photos, compared with before the reversal there were more things that bothered me, such as scars along the double-eyelid line, sunken scars, left-right asymmetry, excessive exposure of the lacrimal caruncle, and scars sticking out beneath the front corner. That’s when a long period of pain began. After spending two years emotionally struggling, I gathered the courage to look for a hospital that specializes in eyes and had good consultation and surgery reviews. The best part was the kind and honest consultation. They told me what could be done and what could not be done, which was better than other places that tried to seduce me by claiming they could do things that actually could not be done. It has now been about a year since the surgery, and the director really proved their skill. I’m a bit older, so right after the surgery I was worried that the surgical area was protruding a lot and wondered whether it would ever go down. But after the third week it started to settle quickly, and now it has naturally settled in. I also want to say how grateful I am to the manager with the short hair who handled my consultation. I was mentally very exhausted at the time, but she took care of me so thoughtfully and warmly from start to finish that it was a great comfort. If I ever get older and develop another cosmetic issue around my eyes, I think I would choose this hospital again without hesitation.
