It has already been 7 months since my philtrum reduction! In the beginning I worried a lot because of the swelling, but as time passed it gradually became more natural, and now the scar is to the point where I barely think about it. More than anything, my mouth looks less protruded than before, and my facial proportions look much more balanced, so I am extremely satisfied. Before surgery, I was always bothered by my philtrum looking long even when I smiled, but now I feel more confident when taking photos. I could feel it becoming more and more natural over time, so it was worth the wait. For anyone who has been worried about their philtrum like I was, I recommend getting a thorough consultation.
