After nose revision surgery with Director Kim Hyun-ju at ALU Plastic Surgery, it has been six months and my nose feels completely comfortable with no pulling sensation or foreign-body feeling at all. Before I had my nose done again, my nose was overall low and the tip felt wide, but now the tip is lifted and the biggest change I’m happiest with is that my impression looks more refined. I was worried about things like the nose becoming crooked or inflammatory reactions, but there have been no side effects at all, and it looks like the swelling has now gone down, which makes me even happier. At my recent follow-up, we mainly checked the autologous costal cartilage scar and the swelling at the nasal tip. The swelling at the tip has mostly gone down, but they said a very slight amount is still left. For the autologous costal cartilage scar, they said I should apply the scar ointment more consistently. The autologous costal cartilage scar still feels a bit sunken, but I hadn’t really taken care of it properly, so I’ll need to manage it diligently from now on.
