Nose Re-Surgery

Don't hesitate about implant removal!!

Hello.. It’s been a really long time since I last came on here too! Before removing my nose implant, I was so worried about things like, “What if my nose collapses after removal?” and “Which hospital is good at this?” that I remember visiting this community dozens of times a day, haha. After a full nose explantation (4 mm silicone, ear cartilage removed from the nasal tip), I’ve been busy with life and it’s already been more than a year since the full removal! Once it’s actually done, the advantages are much greater than the disadvantages, so if you’re considering full nose removal for any reason, I really want to tell you to get it removed as soon as possible. In my case, I decided on full removal because of severe, unexplained pulling sensations in the glabella and forehead (the discomfort was so bad - probably because of the silicone), and because the nasal tip felt heavy and the silicone was bending (it wasn’t adhering, so the silicone kept tilting sideways). After full removal, all of those discomforts completely disappeared, and my blocked nose also opened up, so I’m living very happily now! Full removal isn’t cheap.. but I still recommend removing it as soon as possible rather than living with discomfort and anxiety. I had so many worries about what if my nose collapses after removal.. what if some other side effect appears? But it seems like that almost never happens. I strongly recommend full removal. I hope everyone who is about to have implant removal, and everyone who is considering it, gains some courage from this, and I hope all your surgeries go well!
