If you search the posts here, there do not seem to be many about retainers, so maybe not many people use them? I had a complete nose-tip removal (donor rib, ear cartilage, septal cartilage) and was told to wear it for 3 months, so I am using it. It looks a bit funny, so when I go out I usually wear a mask, and it is so hot I could die. Still, thanks to it, both nostrils are still nicely symmetrical, and my nose is getting smaller in a kind of scary way, so I am faithfully wearing the retainer. From the second month, they said I do not have to wear it 24 hours a day, but should wear it as much as possible(?). Is there anyone who is wearing it or has worn it? I am curious what it is like after taking it off.. I feel cramped and want to reach 3 months quickly so I can take it off, but I do not know if I will be brave enough to go without it haha
