It's been 3 years since I had my nose removed now. I thought even more time had passed. Back then, when I decided to have it removed, I read every post I could find, so I thought I'd write a review too.
I had to have it removed because the implant had come out through contracture, and I had a full removal. At that time I went to every famous hospital I could find, and I think I visited 7 places over 3 days. I remember the CT costs, and since I'm from out of town, the lodging and transportation costs were also pretty high.
It's hard to get appointments at all the famous hospitals, but in my case the silicone was already sticking out of the outside... so the booking was fast. If your nose smells weird or sometimes swells or hurts, it's 100% something, so I hope you remove it before it's too late....
Anyway, to talk about the current results: I was worried because my nasal tip used to spread out a lot, but now the tip is gathered together about as much as it was after the nose surgery, and it feels like it's slightly higher than my original nose. The bridge feels slightly shaved down compared to before (I was told during the first surgery that there was a hump that would be reduced), but because the tip is there, it looks better than my original nose.
For people who worry that their original nose is too ugly, I wanted to write this so you don't worry too much, because sometimes the result ends up somewhere between an operated nose and your original nose~~
