Nose Surgery Reviews

After nose revision surgery for someone with chronic rhinitis

I couldn’t live without rhinitis medicine, really. My nose was blocked every day, so I’d fall asleep breathing through my mouth. It had been a long time since my first nose surgery, but my nose still wasn’t pretty and I still couldn’t breathe well, so nothing had really been fixed. While looking into revision surgery, I heard that I needed to address the functional side too, so I had my nose rebuilt with autologous costal cartilage, along with nostril lowering and correction of the upturned nose. During my consultation at Its Beauty Clinic, they said they could also take care of the rhinitis side, so I just went ahead and did everything at once. The first thing I noticed after recovery was breathing through my nose. I really wondered if it could be this different. It’s been quite a while since I stopped using rhinitis medicine, and I’m not congested. My nose line feels more refined too, and once the upturned nose came down, it looked different from the front. But for me, more than the shape of my nose, the biggest change was being able to breathe. I used to go around sniffing all the time, and now I don’t do that anymore, so just that alone makes me feel like I’m glad I had it done.
