If I could turn back time just once in my life, I think I would choose not to have surgery at this hospital. In the pre-op consultation, the specialized equipment looked like a good differentiator from other hospitals, and I felt trust in the surgeon's confident explanation, so I decided to have the surgery. However, I personally felt deeply disappointed with the results after surgery. From the moment the splint was removed, setting aside swelling, there was a significant difference from the shape I had expected. In particular, the nostrils seemed to have dropped faster than expected, and the nose line was curved into a C shape, different from what I wanted. People around me also often said the nose looked big and blunt, and I was not satisfied with the outcome either. I asked for a consultation with the consultant director because I was unhappy with the result, but I felt that I did not receive a sufficient explanation for my concerns. The hospital kept repeating that there was no problem and that it was a natural result, and I felt that my opinion was not adequately reflected. Also, among the things I learned after surgery, there was a part that I understood to mean a material had been used that I had not fully recognized beforehand, which was surprising. I also wished there had been a more detailed explanation about that. The follow-up consultation and response process also fell short of my expectations, and overall I felt disappointed with both the surgical result and the aftercare. This is only my personal experience and opinion, and I hope anyone considering the same surgery will receive enough consultation and make a careful decision.
