Saying you will raise the double eyelid crease while removing the scar is contradictory. They said to come back after choosing either 1) raising only the line without improving the scar, or 2) loosening the scar line. If the scar line is loosened, the crease becomes lower than it is now and will look almost like a no-crease eye, and even with loosening, the scar still will not be fully improved. Through ptosis correction, the eye can be made to look bigger, but then it may again look almost like a no-crease eye, so it might not be pretty. If the line alone is raised without improving the scar, it would mean roughly cutting into the eye with a triple-incision approach, and they told me to think carefully about it. They said to count this as if I had not done a consultation, so do not scratch the skin around the eyes and think carefully about it. (I have atopic dermatitis.) This was the hospital I had been most looking forward to, but in reality they were basically telling me not to do it, so I was really upset. I should have come here for my revision surgery.. They did not give me a quote, so I entered the price arbitrarily.
