Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

Seoul First community review

I went to another hospital planning to only do contouring, but they pointed out a protruding mouth, and I felt that if I was going to do anything to my mouth, it should be at a more specialized hospital, so I went to Seoul First. First, I was a little taken aback because they didn’t do a CT scan before the consultation. After consulting with the doctor, once a certain decision is made, they take a CT and X-ray at a linked dental clinic and then do another consultation based on that. So compared with other hospitals, having to go one more time is a downside, but being able to have two long consultations with the director seems like an advantage. First of all, I was worried because my chin was not really recessed compared with my protruding mouth, but they showed me before-and-after photos of similar cases and papers they had presented themselves, which reassured me. More than anything, the results for the mouth and contouring were surprisingly natural. Of any hospital I saw, the post-op results here looked the most natural. The results are good, but it feels like natural beauty as if no surgery had been done..? That's why their contouring also pursues naturalness and they do not recommend unnecessary procedures. I wanted all three contouring procedures, but they said only zygoma and cortical osteotomy would be enough, and honestly the square jaw and T-osteotomy would probably have minimal effect, so I felt disappointed but also trusted them. I knew cortical osteotomy alone wouldn’t have a big effect, so the cost was calculated only for protruding mouth + zygoma. If square jaw + T-osteotomy are included, it is an extra 470.
