Liposuction Reviews

Double chin liposuction + muscle plication, almost 2 years later, and I still have side effects..

About 10 years ago, I had two-jaw surgery and then got my chin moved back in, and as a result I developed a double chin. Even when I was thin, having that submental double chin was stressful, and as I got older it seemed to sag more, so last year I consulted at a few places and ended up getting surgery at a clinic where an anesthesiologist was on site and the doctor was originally from an S hospital, and the consultation was the kindest. I had a slight concern that it felt a bit like a factory-style clinic, but the doctor was the kindest during the consultation. Also, I am not sure if it was an ad at the time, but I saw it a lot in community comments.. Before surgery, I even saw a comment from someone saying they had it done there and developed adhesions, and I thought, surely that will not be me.. With that mindset, I even told them before surgery, please take good care of me, and went ahead. I woke up from surgery, and the operation had started in the morning, but I could not even tell what time it was. My body was shaking so badly that they calmed me down for a long time, and when I left for home it was almost 6 p.m... I did not expect recovery from sedation anesthesia to take that long.. From that point on I already had a bad feeling, but when I got home, at first I did not notice because I kept wearing the compression strap, but later I took it off for a moment and took a photo, and the area under my chin looked tightly stuck together and had indented marks, so I messaged the consultation manager with the photos and asked why it looked like that. They said the strap had been worn for a long time so it could leave marks and things like that, but because it happened to fall on a holiday and weekend I could not go to the hospital right away. Worse, the bleeding would not stop and kept staining things, so when I kept asking, they told me to come to the hospital for a moment, so I went on a weekday, if I remember correctly. Back then, they looked at me and said my skin seemed extremely thin and told me not to worry too much, then did a simple re-plication right there while I was sitting down, and removing the stitches was postponed.. I do not know whether the re-plication made it pull tighter, but afterward, starting about a month later, the fibrosis became very severe and lasted a long time, so I really wore turtlenecks nonstop.. From the plastic surgery side they kept saying not to worry too much, and if it was really bad, go get a shot to help dissolve the fibrosis, so I got that once more too.. The short aftercare radiofrequency massage ended as well, but it was still so severe that about 3 months later I went to a shop that specializes in radiofrequency massage after liposuction and got a consultation. Looking at it then, they said it was a miracle I was even okay, because the suction had been excessive, there were severe cannula marks, and there was also adhesion. I figured if I went back to the plastic surgery clinic, I would not get proper compensation anyway, and the consultation manager's chat history had disappeared because the number had changed, so there was not much they could do. So I first got about 10 massage sessions there.. Other areas loosened up a bit, but for the central neck cannula marks, since it is near the Adam's apple area, they said it would not be easy to loosen it. T_T At the time, money was money and my schedule was awkward, so I stopped after that. But now it has almost been 2 years since the surgery, and I live every day with a constant pulling sensation under my chin. I do not know whether the nerve damage will ever recover, but when I touch under my chin it still feels like I got an anesthetic shot.. The central neck? That part was indented... I am currently unemployed and job hunting, so I do have a bit of time, but should I go back to the clinic where I had the plastic surgery and get a consultation with that doctor even though time has passed? But if reconstruction is needed, that ultimately means I would have to do a grafting procedure again.. Lately the pulling has gotten bad again, and I took photos in bright light and was shocked.. The indentations looked much worse than I expected T_T But for excessive suction and adhesions, I understand that fat grafting is needed again, and I am in a weird spot about doing it right now. Should I wait and do it later after more time has passed? I am worried in many ways.. T_T Or should I go back and get something like radiofrequency massage again? Since after my previous two-jaw surgery I had absolutely no nerve-related or similar side effects, this is really stressful.. Is there a separate hospital for reconstruction of double chin liposuction? After going through side effects once, I am really scared to rush into any other plastic surgery.
