Eye Surgery Reviews

Review of Mirae

The clinic has been around for a long time, and there is only one doctor, so that is an advantage. I already had double eyelids, and my interpupillary distance was on the wider side. I was able to get a consultation right away that day, even though it was already a little after 4:30 p.m. At payment, they gave the impression that it was better to pay fairly quickly, and the front desk manager handled that. The consultation was, of course, only with the director, and they recommended incision, fat removal, ptosis correction, front canthoplasty, rear canthoplasty, and lower canthoplasty. My eyes were not bad enough to need that much, and I did not have that much ambition, so I only did buried sutures plus front canthoplasty. Results vary by case, but they stitched the front canthoplasty too far into the middle of the aegyo-sal area, so even now I still have a white, raised scar. The line also differs left to right, and the canthoplasty is uneven too, so I wish I could turn back time. I made a foolish choice by thinking it was a simple procedure and that standards had probably improved overall. It was my mistake to look only for a first consultation and first surgery place near my home and decide there. This year I plan to properly research everything and look around carefully, and I am planning revision surgery for the uneven front canthoplasty, plus a consultation for the eyelid line.
