Lifting Reviews

2-week review after paranasal augmentation surgery (silicone, not an ad)

A complete mental breakdown. 1. Even though the major swelling has mostly gone down, my nose still feels lifted and spread out, leaving a pig-monkey kind of impression. The shadow that used to fall from the hollow beside my nose at a 45-degree angle, which was the reason I had the surgery because it made me look older, is gone, but instead I now look like a monkey from the same angle. My nose just feels so... wrong.. 2. My philtrum got a little longer and my upper lip got smaller, so my mouth looks pinched. 3. When I smile, the philtrum drops, my upper teeth don't show, and the corners of my mouth can't lift because they're blocked by either the implant or swelling, so it looks shockingly bizarre, ugly, strange, and grandmotherly. Even a small smile looks weird. This accounts for 80% of my mental breakdown.. 4. The foreign-body sensation is still quite strong The fact that I have to wait at least 1 month and up to 6 months in this uncertain state is so hopeless, and I keep seeing reviews saying that even after years the smile still feels awkward and monkey-like, which is even more horrifying..
