My square jaw was especially large, so my face looked broad from both the side and the front, and I was always busy trying to correct it with makeup or styling. The stress was so bad that I almost always covered my jaw with my hair. I thought that if I was going to feel this stressed, I should just have surgery and solve the root problem. Of course, I was scared of surgery. Hard to believe, but the before photo I uploaded now is already after my first surgery........ Looking at the side view, there was a sunken area and even a bumpy line!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At the first hospital, they kept saying it was just swelling and that it would get better with time, so I waited 6 to 7 months, but it still did not seem right. After looking for revision surgery reviews, I found Bondi, went for a consultation, had a CT scan, and while talking with the director I was told something shocking and horrifying: it was not swelling, but bone that had not been cut... the surgery had not been properly performed. The first hospital said they would do the revision, but how could I trust them to do it again? What could I believe... So I asked for at least a partial refund, but they said absolutely not. It was the worst.. The photos after surgery show that I finally had a proper square-jaw surgery. I did not know that just one square-jaw surgery could change a person this much. My jaw muscles were also large, so I had been getting Botox regularly, but this time I also had a jaw muscle resection, so now I do not need Botox regularly anymore, and I really feel like I got a huge benefit. If I had done the first surgery at Bondi in the first place, I would not have had to suffer twice, but because of the first hospital I went through so much hardship in money, time, and mental pain. Now that I finally had a proper surgery and things turned out well, I feel so relieved and happy. I do not think cosmetic surgery should be recommended recklessly or that everyone must do it, but if it can solve a complex like mine, I think it can be one good option. And I really, really think choosing the right hospital is crucial. These days I only take selfies and do skin retouching. Even the after-surgery photos only have skin retouching done.
