10-Month Review of Three-Point Contouring

It has now been more than 10 months since my contouring surgery! Before, I wrote a post at the 1-month mark saying my recovery was on the slow side, and this time I want to share how I recovered up to the 10-month mark. Around the 2-month mark, I felt the major swelling had gone down to some extent, but my left cheek was going down more slowly, so it looked a little asymmetrical. It looked like I had just had a wisdom tooth removed. Opening my mouth got better than before, but it still was not completely comfortable, and I do not think I was eating hard foods much at that point either.. My doctor said that from 3 months onward, the bones can be considered fully fused, so I avoided hard foods as much as possible until the 3-month mark. The 6-month mark was a pretty big milestone for me. People say that in the hospital too, right? That things are usually much more stable after about 6 months. For me too, from that point on my face looked much lighter, and I felt that almost all of the swelling had gone down! It was not like it changed dramatically every day, but when I compared it with older photos, the facial line was definitely more refined. From then on, I spent much less time being conscious of the surgery, and I almost never felt stressed when looking in the mirror. In the beginning, I was checking my face several times a day and searching for recovery stories, but by then it felt like I had simply gotten used to my face. Now at the 10-month mark, honestly, I sometimes forget I even had surgery lol. I can open my mouth enough to eat hamburgers like before, and it feels like all the swelling is gone! If anyone is only at the 2- or 3-month mark right now and still worried because your face feels puffy, your mouth does not open well, or your expression feels awkward, I really hope you do not worry alone too much. Even someone like me, whose recovery was slow, eventually got better! I will come back later with a 1-year update!!
