My nose was always on the low and small side overall, and that was something I worried about. Especially when I took side-profile photos, my nose barely seemed to exist, so when I saw pictures, my face looked flat, which was stressful. Even adding shadow with makeup had its limits🥲. For days 3 to 4 right after surgery, swelling and breathing through my mouth were the hardest parts🥹. I think I barely slept the first day, but the moment the splint came off a week later, I liked the line more than I expected, and my satisfaction shot up. It’s been one month now, and the major swelling is almost gone. The tip is still a little firm, and when I smile there’s still a slight awkward feeling. But the side profile is truly, truly satisfying...! Before, every time I took a photo I worried about my nose first, but now I feel much more confident.
People around me also keep saying, “I can’t tell exactly what you had done, but your overall vibe changed,” and “You look naturally prettier,” so I’m even more satisfied 🤍 There’s still some residual swelling, so I plan to watch it slowly until 3 to 6 months!
