Nose Surgery Reviews

My nose tip looked like it had been cut off..

I’ve been stressed about my nose for nearly 30 years. After my first surgery, inflammation developed and left scars, and I lived with a nose tip that looked like it had been cut off, along with the inflammation. Afterward, I had two more revision rhinoplasties, but there was no major improvement, so honestly I hesitated a lot about this surgery too. Revision surgery is said to be especially difficult, so I was extremely careful in choosing a hospital and consulted with about 6 places in person. Among them, the place I trusted the most was [Clinic A], and Dr. Kim Hyeon-ju’s consultation left a strong impression on me. While other places felt like they explained things quickly and moved on, Dr. Kim Hyeon-ju carefully examined my nose condition, the cause of the scars, and even my skin condition in great detail. Rather than saying it could definitely be done, she honestly explained what was realistically possible and what would be difficult, which actually made me trust her more. Before the revision, the scar was so old that I worried whether improvement would even be possible, but as the swelling went down after surgery, it gradually looked more natural. Above all, the scar area looked much softer and less prominent than before, so I’m satisfied. Using autologous costal cartilage and fascia, she shaped it naturally to suit my face instead of making it excessively high, and I liked that too. The retracted columella came down, the depressed area at the nasal tip was filled in, and the scar improved too, so the me who used to feel upset every time I looked in the mirror... is now living a happy daily life.
