My first surgery started with silicone + ear cartilage, then I had septal cartilage, full ear cartilage, and dermis used as well.. By the 4th surgery it kept contracting and collapsing.. For the last one, I had costal cartilage 5 years ago and had no problems for 5 years, but after impact to my nose, it started aching and feeling hot that day, then it began to rise T_TTTT The hospital that operated on me says contracture cannot happen with autologous costal cartilage, but maybe because of scar tissue from multiple surgeries.. the pulling and tight, squeezing feeling is severe.. Now, in just 2-3 weeks, it has risen until it looks like a complete contracture nose.. T_T What should I do in cases like this? The hospital says there is no silicone in my nose and they only used autologous costal cartilage and AlloDerm on the bridge, so there is nothing to remove.. Since there is no swelling or anything like that, they want me to just take Rejaven and come back in a month, but I am worried I may miss the timing to do anything about it T_TTTT.. Watching my nose rise day by day is making me feel like I am going crazy.. If anyone has had contracture after autologous costal cartilage, please leave a comment. Does anyone know whether a nose rising this quickly over just a few days counts as acute contracture? Please leave a comment.. Please.. I already booked a removal consultation at [Clinic A] this week.. If possible, please recommend hospitals too.. [Clinic B] is the only place I know of..
