I had reconstruction with autologous costal cartilage, but my nose was originally long, and after removing it my nose became much shorter and upturned into a saddle nose. I used autologous costal cartilage because I wanted to improve my short nose, but it is still short enough that I feel like dying.. It feels like the autologous costal cartilage length itself was inserted too short. Can the length be extended by using the existing autologous costal cartilage and adding ear cartilage, or would they have to cut the autologous costal cartilage again and make it longer.... Right now I feel like I just paid a huge amount of money and ended up with an autologous costal cartilage scar, and I want to die. Please don't ask which hospital it was..
