My mom had silicone that runs from the bridge to the tip of her nose placed 30 years ago, and it has somehow held up well until now, but recently the tip has started to show white through the skin... For now I’m going around for consultations focusing on removal, and if needed I’m considering revision surgery with something like MegaDerm. If anyone has bad reviews or anything they know about, I’d really appreciate it!!!

Right after surgery I was already thinking about removal, but as time went by I got used to it and, unless there was inflammation or contracture, opening it up again wouldn’t be good either... I was in the “let’s just live with it”…
