I looked into revision surgery, heard they were famous, went for consultation, and had the surgery. The doctor has a very decisive personality haha When I first went for consultation, they said I did not seem committed and to come back when I really wanted it.... I did want it, so I had driven an hour to get there T_T haha I liked that they seemed confident it would go well. As soon as I did not pay the deposit, the consultation coordinator's friendliness dropped slightly. The moment I said I would make a reservation, they switched back to friendly mode. On the surgery day, before setting the line, someone came in and made me do a vision exercise or something similar while saying we should practice first, and when I kept blinking they scolded me haha After the practice, while setting the line with the doctor, I kept getting scolded again for blinking because it would make the line uneven haha, but they drew the line very carefully. Then I had the surgery. I was satisfied because the line seemed to come out well. When I went to have the stitches removed, the doctor found that the line at the outer eye corner was very subtly splitting into two. I had not noticed it at all. They said I needed revision surgery, so I had revision surgery. I was already lying on the operating table wondering whether the surgery itself had been done wrong or whether my tissue was just strange, and then the doctor said something like, 'Ah, why are there so many revisions? This is annoying.' I felt extremely bad about that. After the revision, I went to have the stitches removed, and the nurse who removed them was incredibly kind. When I asked casually, she said she had worked at other hospitals too, but this was the first time she had met such a meticulous doctor. She also said that was probably why the results were good. It is true that a doctor who handles aftercare immediately is better than one who just leaves you alone after surgery. But the attitude in the operating room was really upsetting. In the end, the surgery seems to have gone well. haha People around me ask about it a lot, but I would not recommend it to people around me....
