This is where I had my first cosmetic surgery. 5 years ago I had my first double-eyelid surgery with the chief surgeon. It was a full incision, but because the line was made so naturally, one side is starting to loosen and the other is so thin it became an inner double eyelid, so from far away you cannot even tell I had double-eyelid surgery. A little over a year after the surgery, I had a revision surgery for aftercare. The revision was done with the buried-suture method. At 1 year it was truly the double eyelid I wanted, but starting from year 2 it was not really... The one side that was starting to loosen after the first surgery is acting up again. It is not extremely obvious, but if I open my eyes normally without thinking, my eyes look droopy and it becomes a double fold that seems like it will either stay or come undone.. From the Mongolian fold to the inner line and through the middle there is some line, but from the middle to the outer part the line is blurry, so I think that makes it worse. The other side honestly turned out so well that I do not need another revision. I am not sure if it is just my one eye that is the problem, but I know there are no places that do revision for only one side, and even so I would like to do it if there were. Really... And for people getting double-eyelid surgery for the first time, never use tape or glue to force a crease. I wore it for 3 years and thought, would it really affect the surgery that much? But it did have some impact. Oh, and when I consulted, I remember the manager being quite kind, and the director was just so-so.
