About 6 years ago I saw their blog, felt convinced, and visited - I booked the consultation and surgery in one go. A lot of people seem to be drawn in by blogs. In the end, the surgery was done safely and stably, without any serious complications, cheek sagging, over-resection of the chin, or stair-step deformity. They are the kind of surgeon who operates by the book and safely, so they also used screws and osteotomy to secure everything firmly (they said the screws did not need to be removed, so they are still in there). That said, the discomfort I felt during the process from consultation to post-op care seems to be something other people feel too. The feeling was like: "They will just take care of it for me," and it was hard to picture exactly what kind of change would happen. Also, the counselor made a mistake at the time, which was very disappointing. The square jaw and T-osteotomy were fine, but the cheekbones are a bit disappointing. The cheekbones definitely became smaller, but overall the face does not feel small enough. It still feels like the area above the temples is wide. Maybe that is because the frontal width of the face did not decrease much. I wonder if that is just because of the skull itself The wound inside my mouth also ended up leaving scar tissue only on the left side, where there had been bruising at the time. I thought this was a contouring specialist, so I had the attitude of "just do it for me," but I do feel a bit sorry that I should have thought more specifically about what to request.
