Eye Surgery Reviews

First Snow Review

I had double-eyelid revision surgery, and I regret deciding based on just one great-looking eye photo on Naver that looked like it was plastered all over the place. The surgery was done with local anesthesia only, not sedation + local anesthesia, so it was really hard during the operation. The injections hurt too, but the medicine didn’t spread well so I had to get several more shots, and it was awful.. I’m suffering from sausage-like swelling and scars, and I’m looking for a hospital for scar revision, but I’m going to avoid places that only do local anesthesia. It was so hard then that I never want local-only anesthesia again.

After the revision surgery, the inner eye corners are uneven, and the fixation is too deep, so the mucosal eversion is severe and my eyes sting. When I force my eyes open, they look extremely bulging, like actor Kim Min-kyo’s bulging eyes in SNL. There are depressed scars along the double-eyelid line, and the outer corner of the right eye has a forked scar. Maybe the fixation was too strong, because even though the line wasn’t made thick, if I slightly lift the eyelid or open it faintly, it looks like sausage. On the other hand, when I open my eyes clearly, the conjunctiva flips out a lot ㅡㅡ sigh.. The front canthus was over-opened, so it looks creepy. Because of the fierce-looking impression and the depressed scars at the inner and outer corners, I’m still so stressed even after 2 years. I’m going to end up spending several times more money on front-canthoplasty revision and double-eyelid revision.. I want to turn back time to before the surgery.
