I had buried stitches with Director Song 12 years ago, and they still haven't come undone and are holding up well. I really like the shape too. But my friend, who had the same procedure with me, had a lot of fat in her eyes, so the buried stitches came undone. It seems to vary from person to person. The director actually discouraged other kinds of cosmetic procedures and seemed like an ethical person.
