La Foret Clinic Review

While I was looking into clinics for double eyelid consultation, I kept hearing a lot about this place too for double eyelids, canthoplasty, and other eye-related surgeries, so I went there for a consultation once. I thought this clinic, which so many people talked about, would be huge, but it was small. At first I was talking with the consultation manager, and when she looked at my eyes she said that because my eyes were droopy, burial method wouldn't work and they would have to go with an incision, and that was all she said. Other clinics tend to add extra things like saying it would be better to do more here and there, but here they only consulted me on exactly what I wanted, which felt comfortable.. I really hate consultations getting long because they keep adding this and that... Then I had a consultation with the director. The reviews said she didn't seem super kind, but also not too blunt, so I was a little nervous, but she was just not overly soft-spoken, more the type to say exactly what needs to be said.... I think some people might find her blunt, but anyway, I was fine with it. In any case!! During the consultation I told her about the double eyelid line I wanted and showed the photos I had brought. Looking at the photos, she said it wouldn't be exactly like this eye, but she would make it like the line I wanted, then designed the line and just asked when I was thinking of having surgery... I actually had prepared questions, but whenever I get eye consultations, I always first ask what kind of line would suit my eye structure before showing the desired line photo and gauging their reaction to filter out the clinics first. But the director didn't really say much, just said she'd make that line and that these days even men often want that kind of line, and the consultation ended... The reason I had thought about asking about eye structure was because I had read posts saying that there are lines that suit different eye structures, and if you insist on the line you want, mismatch and side effects can follow, so I had prepared that question... But honestly, the line I wanted doesn't really suit my skin thickness and eye structure... it was really just the line I wanted... not necessarily the optimal one for my eyes. Anyway, after the consultation I went back to the consultation manager for the price talk. She said that if I made a reservation that day, they would give me swelling injections and a discount as a service, so there was definitely pressure to book. I personally don't like being pressured into something I don't want, so I said I'd think about it and just took the business card and left! I was drawn in because people said the reviews were good, the review photos came out really well, and there were many surgery results that matched the style I wanted, but after the consultation, while it was somewhat okay, I just didn't feel drawn to it enough to decide on surgery.
