Since it was my first surgery, I went in thinking about ear cartilage and septal cartilage. They recommended donated rib cartilage. I had not even considered donated rib cartilage when I came in, so... I prefer a glamorous, high nose. The chief coordinator was kind, but it felt like they were recommending something excessive. It did not suit me, so I just had the consultation and left.
